Isaiah 64:7-9
7 No one calls on your name
or strives to lay hold of you;
for you have hidden your face from us
and made us waste away because of our sins.

8 Yet, O LORD, you are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.

9 Do not be angry beyond measure, O LORD;
do not remember our sins forever.
Oh, look upon us, we pray,
for we are all your people.

I know there is a difference between pottery and sculpture.. ^^; but yah, I was just basing this pic off of those verses. And a painting I saw in a video on Youtube. Only the hands were painting instead of sculpting and the picture was a bazillion times better than mine.

I feel like illustrating scripture based stuff... ^^; I need more of these in my gallery.

This pic and the scripture really mean a lot to me. I can really relate to them.

Because like pottery, or sculpture, which have to be constantly patted, cut into, smashed and formed, and finally fired in order to take the shape that it needs to be useful and to have people say "oooh what a pretty awesome sculpture that is! What work and talent that artist has!"

I believe in the same way, God is Molding us to be amazing creations that will give glory to Him. Being a Christian isn't easy, no one said it would be. But I believe that God is going to make us into beatiful works of art...if we let him.

Because you know, sometimes clay is awfully hard to work with, sometimes it resists, and the creator has to work even harder to make it perfect....but God, being the awesomest artist ever...never gives up, and he will continue to work with our toughness...until we finally give in and follow his idea for our lives.

Just a thought..
(coloring is meant to be messy)
Work is (C) CK
CK is (C) God.
