This is not a real video game!

Same assignment as the Stick Monkey one. we had to come up with two proposals. While I love this idea if I were to really pitch a video game the Stick Monkey one would be used. This was a second idea.

Farmer Jones is sick and tired of fightin' The rootin' Tootin' Gang of crop munchers, called Prarie Dogs. He decides to take matters into his own hands. Those dogs aren't going to have a very nice day....or will they?

Perhaps its time for these little guys to fight back!

Yah...there is this little thing going on here in Kansas where they are starting to poison and kill the Prarie dogs...GAH WHY!? They are so cute! and they really do more for the environment than people think! D:< They are food for the snakes, whom the birds prey on. The snakes eat the mice, which also feed the birds... gahh this will mess things up! D:<

I hope they don't kill them all -_-

These prarie Dogs have names! :D

The one in the front is Crunch, the female is Rolla, and the one in the back is Tweetch.

I think I will reuse them! I LOVE THEM already! :D

Actually, having grown up on a ranch, prairie dogs are not a cool thing to have around. Their burrows make the ground dangerous for cattle and horses, who could break a leg from stepping on what looks like solid ground but is actually a burrow. They destroy almost all vegetation around their towns (borrow communities). They spread diseases very quickly, including Bubonic Plague (aka Black Death). Among other things. Yes, they are cute and people have them as pets, but no rancher or farmer wants them anywhere near their land. Don't have a problem with them in places like state or national parks, where they're safely controlled and monitored, just like all the other animals, and will be kept from being dangerous.

I'm really sorry, CK, to rant at you/at general topic, but it's something that's quite the issue where my family lives, since we own a ranch.

But very cute concept, either way.

heheh. It's okay, I was just cranky earlier, and the subject really riles me up, since it's something I've dealt with through my home location and father's job for as long as I can remember. I was just trying to let you know that the little buggers are killed for a reason.

Like I said, sorry for ranting at you. :hug:

Poor prairie dogs! Stupid Kans...ans... Kansasians... Kansas... people! Don't provoke the prairie dogs, they might revolt. I think we should supply them with weapons.
Of course I have never seen a prairie dog, nor do I know anything about them. But the idea of prairie dog wars amuses me.
